Les Linklater is the Chairman of our Board. You’ll know Les from his one-man crusade to improve health and safety for the offshore community as the Executive Director of Step Change in Safety. His drive and relentless approach to safe operations is an asset to the Absafe team.

Duncan Peter is the Business Development Manager of fellow charity Inspire, and also the Vice-Chairman of our Board. Duncan provides insight into social enterprises, volunteering recruitment and retention, as well as fundraising knowhow.

Phil Davie is Vice President – Operations at Aker Solutions and brings ten years’ experience working in the oil and gas sector. His formidable skills in operations management are extremely beneficial to Absafe’s future plans.

Stacey Summers provides marketing advice and counsel. Stacey is the Director and leader of her own pack, the White Wolf Collective. Stacey’s fresh ideas and creative spark helps us as we look for new ways to market our business.

Wayne Henderson is the Managing Director of Kaizah Limited, a consultancy focusing on supporting businesses develop strategy, business improvement and growth opportunities. Wayne brings skills in project management, commercial and strategic planning to the Absafe board.

Kirstin Gove is a freelance journalist and former News Anchor on STV. After 15 years in the newsroom at Grampian TV/STV, Kirstin held the position of Account Director at global PR firm Weber Shandwick, AVC Media and at Citrus:Mix, before going freelance and launching her own business in 2014. Kirsten brings communications know-how and unrivalled media relations experience.
